Eye Examinations

Vision is such an important sense. That is why regular eye examinations are recommended to make sure our eyes remain healthy and our vision as good as possible. We generally recommend our patients have an eye examination every two years, although our optometrists may recommend more frequent examinations in certain cases.

Our fully qualified, friendly team of optometrists will examine your eyes using some tried and tested methods but also some of the most advanced optical technology available today. We will explain the results of the various tests with you as we go along, and recommend whether you need glasses or not. When you require glasses we will recommend the most appropriate lens and frame options to help give you the best vision possible.

As each eye examination is tailored to your individual needs at Reid Mackellar, there are a number of tests we perform on everyone, with some extra tests that may be necessary for some customers.
